» Atlanta Gives Charity Scavenger Hunt

Atlanta Gives is a weekend-long charity scavenger hunt targeting college students and young adults in the Atlanta area. Designed and organized by a team of current college students and recent graduates, Atlanta Gives combines a fun adventure game, a competition for fantastic prizes, and an opportunity to educate the next generation about Atlanta’s nonprofit community.

During the event, teams will work together to complete tasks in four different areas that relate to becoming future leaders of Atlanta’s nonprofit community:

  • Celebrating Atlanta: traveling around the city and taking team pictures with famous Atlanta landmarks, people, and traditions
  • Connecting with the Community: registering for volunteer newsletters, requesting more information about giving and specific nonprofits, and sending thank you letters to local firefighters, police officers, and military personnel
  • Doing Something for the Greater Good: raising money for local nonprofits, volunteering at local charities, and finding and carrying out self-created projects to give back to those in need in Atlanta
  • Having Some Fun: solving clues, racing against other teams, and completing random tasks that require teamwork, creativity, and brain power

A date has not been set for Atlanta Gives 2008, but we are targeting late Spring.
