» Education Campaign

In 2008, our work will be increasingly focused on educating youth and young adults about charitable giving and inspiring them to get involved.

After our next wave of enhancements in early 2008, our website will have robust online communities for different groups to learn more about giving back, share their stories with others, and get the information they need in order to be able to make a difference in the lives of others. The new site also will also include videos about giving, interactive educational content, and links to additional sites of interest. Targeted email newsletters for different age groups and audiences will also be created as we grow and expand.

In addition to our online community, our 2008 programs will provide a deeper and more meaningful experience for our target audience in our home city of Atlanta. If successful, we plan to expand our Art of Giving contest and Charity Scavenger Hunt event to other cities in the future.

We are also working to provide more online resources to help parents, teachers, youth group leaders, and others key influencers with the tools they need to help the next generation learn about and get more involved in charitable giving. Initial ideas include:

• Lesson plans / classroom activites
• Youth group discussion guides
• College group discussion topics
