Engineers Without Borders-USA works to create a safer, stable world by addressing the roots of conflict—poverty and lack of access to basic needs such as clean water, power, sanitation and education. Partnering with developing world communities off the radar of larger aid organizations, EWB-USA tackles the most critical humanitarian problems, from water quality to sanitation to energy, in more than 40 countries. Projects are sustainable, replicable, and low-cost. The organization makes a five-year commitment to each developing world community and engages seasoned professionals, from engineers to architects, along with students, who want to make an impact with their talents and resources.
