» About The Project
Inspired by a 1982 Woman’s Day magazine contest, The White Envelope Project is an Atlanta-based nonprofit organization dedicated to developing the next generation of Givers, Civic Leaders, and Philanthropists. Founded by four siblings in their 20s in May 2006, the organization's programs educate youth and young adults about charitable giving, inspire them to act, and provide them with the tools, information, and resources to make a difference in the lives of others.
What We Believe
- Today's youth and young adult population WILL change the world. The question is not IF but HOW.
- Everyone has something to give. Regardless of who you are, where you are from, or how much you make, you can make a difference in the lives of others.
- There are more than 1.7 million charities in the United States. Pick one – any one – and DO SOMETHING.
